Recognizing the pivotal role of the natural sciences in serving humanity and the growing importance of contemporary studies in remote sensing, digital image processing and analysis, geographic information systems (GIS), and geophysics, which explores the Earth’s interior and its physical properties, the College of Remote Sensing and Geophysics was established to meet the rising demand for these disciplines. Its founding aligns with the rapid advances in information technology and the natural sciences, which have produced new specializations in leading countries and attracted increasing numbers of students worldwide. To meet our nation’s need for qualified specialists who can contribute to development projects and to strengthen research focused on assessing and optimally utilizing natural resources, the college is committed to preparing a new generation proficient in remote-sensing tools and geophysical methods, equipped to meet the requirements of both local and international labor markets.
