Al-Karkh University of Science discusses the possibility of providing labor contracts for students

Al-Karkh University of Science discussed ,in a meeting with a ministerial committee of the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, the possibility of opening the horizons of scientific and academic cooperation with Ministry of Oil 

The meeting included the discussion of convening  an international scientific conference on the applications of geophysics and remote sensing in the service of oil exploration and with the participation of international oil companies. 

They also discussed the possibility of providing labor contracts  for students of  the third stage at college of remote sensing and geophysics , sending students to summer training courses and to oil fields and providing fund and equipments to the laboratories of the college.

Dr. Louai Kadhim , the Chancellor’s assistant for scientific affairs, said that the meeting included the discussion of a number of important issues that entrench the joint cooperation between the university and the ministry, the most important of which is the establishment of the first international conference for oil exploration, the establishment of specialized scientific lectures between the university and the ministry ,providing labor contracts and field visits to oil fields.
