  Al-karkh university of science organized a lecture on the importance of khor Abdullah and the navigation in it with the participation of a number of researchers and specialists .

  The lecture , which was delivered by Dr. Farooq M. Ali Alzaidi , included the definition of the characteristics of khor Abdullah , how it was  effected by erosion and sedimentation operations and the impact of these operation on current international borders between Iraq and Kuwait and the navigational channel between them.

  The lecture aimed at raising awareness to the importance of khor Abdullah on the growth and development of Iraqi harbors and its impact on Iraqi trade , and not using the principle of computational bisection in determining the international borders .
